Director David Orace Kelly, an international performerand teacher, calls the
Pacific Northwest his home. He has been coaching and teaching acting and
performance since 1996. His professional experience ranges from director,
to featured juggler, to acting and fight direction, to dance and choreography,
to scenic and lighting design.
He has trained at Naropa University, where he earned his BFA in performance,
as well as the Dell’Arte School of Physical Theater and Cornish College of
the Arts.
Kelly has been seen several independent films and toured as a solo performer
at numerous festivals and guest taught across the country. Over his ten year
career as a solo performer he was a featured juggler in the shows “Z the
Masked Musical” and Leonard Bernstein’s “Mass,” under the direction of Maron
Alsop. He has performed with The Flying Karamazov Brothers, opened for the
Kingsmen, and toured with the New Old Time Chautauqua.
